The Origin of S.T.I.N.G
Robert Henley developed S.T.I.N.G. to transform the educational experience for individuals with diverse learning styles.
From a young age, Robert faced challenges in school due to his preferred learning styles—visual and kinesthetic—which are often overlooked in traditional classrooms. At the time, educators lacked the training and tools to effectively engage students who didn't fit the standard mold.
Fortunately, Robert’s father recognized his unique strengths and helped guide his educational journey. Through hands-on experiences and exposure to subjects like robotics, Robert built confidence and discovered his passion for learning.
He went on to complete a dual degree program earning a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and a second B.S. degree in Applied Mathematics, gaining both academic success and a deeper understanding of how learning can be tailored to the individual.
With S.T.I.N.G., Robert aims to provide others with the tools he once needed—a way to think visually, organize intuitively, and unlock their full potential.
